1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hermes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Hermes. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You may not share accounts, use automated tools to create accounts, or allow others to use your account credentials.

3. Reddit API Credentials

Hermes requires you to provide Reddit API credentials to operate. You are solely responsible for ensuring your Reddit API usage complies with Reddit's Developer Terms and Data API Terms.

We store your credentials encrypted. You may revoke access and delete your credentials at any time from your account settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Hermes to spam Reddit users, post deceptive content, manipulate communities, or violate Reddit's rules. AI-generated drafts must be reviewed before posting; you are responsible for all content posted through your account.

5. Intellectual Property

The Hermes platform, software, and interface are our intellectual property. You receive a limited license to use the Service for your own commercial purposes.

AI-generated reply drafts created by the Service are provided for your use. You own the content you post to Reddit.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING UPTIME, ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR BUSINESS OUTCOMES. REDDIT API AVAILABILITY IS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Texas.
